Jim Duffy, LTC U.S. Army (Retired) Special Forces Green Berets. Twenty three years of service. A Decade Life Member of the Special Forces Association and Member/ Past President of SFA Chapter 78 (LXXVII) California.
Served as Army Special Forces Detachment Commander A-109 Thuong Duc, including a 90 day siege of the camp. Other multiple assignments as Operations and Training Officer and Foreign Area Officer – China/East Asia.
Assigned to Defense Intelligence Agency as a U.S. Diplomatic Representative and Army Assistant Liaison Officer. Liaison to numerous U.S. and Foreign Agencies and a variety of Military Units. Served in Korea, Vietnam, Germany, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Traveled to numerous countries in East and South East Asia.
Traveled on assignments to countries such as the Philippines, Malaysia, Penang, Japan, China, Austria, Indonesia, Thailand and Burma. Former Diplomat to The Court of Saint James, London with service as a U.S. Diplomatic Representative in Hong Kong.
Trained in different languages including French, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, German, Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese.
